Design code is important for any type of structure design. As per your design code the loading is varied. Here for this project UBC design code has been used which is similar to my local code. Any tutorial is a procedure, following the procedure you can apply any code per your requirement. For this type of project wind load is important and need to calculate manually. I use MS Excel program to calculate wind load. You have to learn your own about how to calculate wind load as per your code requirement. I have also attached the excel wind load calculation file in the video description. You can collect from there and study that.
